There needs to be an option to disable the Google Chrome profiles feature! I want to be able to access my bookmarks from my personal and business accounts. I am having the same issues with this feature.

I uninstalled and reinstalled chrome to see if I can get back the old normal browser setting but NO! I’m stuck with something I clearly do not want. I don’t want to have to keep switching back and forth between my student and work accounts. I just happened to click ‘yes’ an hour ago and now I want to pull all my hair out. On top of that, profiles can be accessed from other devices, thus facilitating efficient syncing.īut as it stands, not everyone is a fan of the new Google Chrome profiles feature, with many also looking for ways to disable it. Moreover, the process for creating a new profile has been simplified greatly. These profiles also have their own themes, passwords, and other customization options. It’s similar to how user profiles work on Windows, where different users can manage and control their own profiles.

The new implementation allows users to create personalized profiles and customize them as per their liking. Google Chrome back in March received an update that revamped its user profiles feature.
